If I'm remembering correctly, (it could be the DSI) if you remove the battery cover, there's access to two small screws, that can adjust the brightness/contrast of the screens, if you have a play with those it should fix the issue, at least for a while

I came of age in the early 2000s. Didn't get my first Gameboy until roughly 2008 I'd say. My parents bought my siblings and I Pokemon games online and most of them were fake. I have no idea what website they used or whatever, but I still have my fake copy of Sapphire from all those years ago that would randomly delete my save data and crush my spirit more and more as an 8 year old child lol. Real problem is that the actual games are so unnecessary overpriced.

These are cheap, and poppy. They don’t return your controller to stock, and they just make hitting the buttons so much harder.
